Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Target Business Services.

About the Role:

As an Agricultural Construction Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing civil construction projects that are integral to the agricultural and livestock farming operations.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire lifecycle of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
2. Coordinate the construction of sheds, barns, water tanks, warehouses, roads, irrigation systems, silos, fencing, and other agricultural structures.
3. Collaborate with farm management and key stakeholders to determine project requirements and ensure alignment with operational needs.
4. Supervise and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel, ensuring that all work complies with safety and environmental standards.
5. Ensure that projects are completed within the allocated budget and timeline, and address any potential risks or delays promptly.
6. Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure quality and compliance.
7. Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
8. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.
9. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones and addressing any issues.
10. Lead post-project evaluations to identify best practices and areas for improvement for future projects.

Requirements:

1. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, as well as oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
4. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
5. Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards relevant to rural and agricultural settings.
6. Ability to solve problems under pressure and manage project risks proactively.
