About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Casual Children's Services Employee to join our team at Our Marymount Outside School Hours Care in Burleigh Waters. As a Childcare Educator, you will have the opportunity to create a fun and engaging environment for our school-aged children.

As a Casual Employee, you will have the flexibility to control your hours and enjoy a great work-life balance. You will be working with a supportive team who share your passion for delivering high-quality care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging recreational and educational programs that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Create a safe, secure, and nurturing environment that encourages children to learn and grow.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the service within the local community and contribute to the development of a positive reputation for Catholic Early EdCare.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA) or willingness to obtain.
  • A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A genuine passion for working with children aged 6 months - Kindergarten in a play-based learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
