Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for a Junior Geologist to join our Technical Presales team in Australia. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our business development managers to deliver technical demonstrations, support tenders, and ensure customer success during onboarding and implementation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with business development managers to identify, develop, and close opportunities, as well as delivering technical demonstrations and input into proposals and tenders.

  • Collaborate with business development managers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver high-quality technical demonstrations, proposals, and presentations.
  • Support customer success during onboarding and implementation, ensuring seamless adoption of our technology.

Additional responsibilities include leading software evaluations and proof-of-concept builds, contributing to product development through feedback and regional testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess a recognized tertiary qualification in earth sciences, with a few years of experience in an exploration setting.

A strong passion for geology, technology, and continuous improvement is essential, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pre-sales or technical consulting experience is highly desirable, as is exposure to Micromine Origin.

  • Recognized tertiary qualification in earth sciences.
  • Several years of experience in an exploration setting.
  • Exposure to Micromine Origin (at university or in a professional setting).
  • Pre-sales or technical consulting experience is highly desirable.
