About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Local MR Driver to work with a leading interstate general freight transport company with offices throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Medium Rigid vehicle in a local area
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle
  • Assist the operations team with tasks such as strapping curtains and locking gates
  • Meet safety and quality standards
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the Transport & Logistics industry
  • Confident in driving and understanding the metro local areas well
  • Held a Medium Rigid (MR) licence and have a minimum of 1 year of local driving experience
  • Synchro Gearbox experience essential
  • Chain and Dog experience essential
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
