Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality educational programs to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.

  • Develop and implement learning experiences that meet the needs of all children within the EYLF framework and philosophies.
  • Drive the delivery of engaging environments that foster children's interests, culture, knowledge, and ideas.
  • Provide educational programs for children 6 weeks to 6 years old, including 3-year-olds.
  • Complete documentation, including observations, transition statements, summative assessments, programs, critical reflections, and support plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead a team of educators.
  • Model respectful and trusting relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community contacts.
  • Support and guide educators to contribute to the development of the educational program.
  • Communicate effectively with families about their child's progress in a respectful and understandable manner.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Children Services
  • Understanding of Approved Learning Frameworks, child development, and learning theories.
  • Understanding of National Quality Standards, ECA Code of Ethics, and Child Safe Standards.
  • Ability to guide best practices and promote a positive working environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Passion for embedding sustainable practices within the campus.
  • Mental agility to ensure time management and flexible responsiveness.
