Job Title: Product Manager - Fund Services

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the Fund Services product suite for the Aus/NZ market.

About the Role: The Product Manager will be responsible for the product strategy and product management of the service offering to support clients in Australia and New Zealand. This includes reviewing the regulatory framework and developing a go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in the Funds Services Industry, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Product Innovation: Work closely with Global Products teams and Client Delivery to develop core product enhancements and targeted/tactical solutions to meet APAC clients' or prospects' needs.
  • Enhance the Value Proposition: Develop new solutions to support new client needs, regulatory developments, or strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain Effective Business Models: Design and maintain effective business models to align with client needs, maintain clear product standards, and ensure product control guidance.
  • Monitor Regulatory Developments: Assess the impact of regulatory developments on the service offering and products.
  • Conduct Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market regulatory watches and translate these insights into recommendations.
  • Establish Thought Leadership: Establish thought leadership/market advocacy, including regulatory topics, to promote market awareness and understanding of Securities Services/Partner capabilities.
  • Support Expansion: Support expansion through business case structuring, strategic review and analysis, and decision-making across new markets.
  • Collaborate with Sales: Work alongside Sales to support business development during marketing and translate/interpret client demands into the standard operating model, service enhancements, and/or new offerings.
  • Introduce Product Thought Leadership: Introduce product thought leadership from other locations to the local market, working collaboratively with business and client development to position effectively with clients.
  • Develop Meaningful Value Propositions: Work with client development to develop meaningful value propositions and solutions to the market, adapted for specific opportunities where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Experience: More than 8 years of experience in the Funds Services Industry, with a similar product management role in Aus/NZ.
  • Capability: Capability to undertake detailed analysis and formalize documentation to support the product lifecycle.
  • Proven Ability: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Clear Ability: Clear ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively at all levels and across functions.
  • Analytical Capability: Analytical capability and ability to formalize and provide high-standard outcomes and reports.
  • Experience: Experience and obtain fund industry knowledge in the ANZ market.
