Project Technical Lead/Team Leader Role

The role of a Project Technical Lead/Team Leader involves driving business growth through strategic marketing, client engagement, and project delivery.

This position offers the opportunity to mentor staff, support strategic goals, and maintain a positive work environment.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading project delivery from concept design to construction, ensuring technical excellence.
  • Maintaining and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Identifying new opportunities and contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  • Overseeing project financials, including fee proposals, resourcing, budgeting, and profitability.
  • Managing and mentoring engineers and drafters within the team.
  • Peer review of design work and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Representing the business in client meetings, presentations, and industry forums.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Structural/Civil Engineering).
  • CPEng/NER accreditation.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams and/or projects.
