About Us:

Aluminium Specialties Group Pty Ltd is a national operation with a friendly work environment.

We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team in influencing LEAN and safe operations at our Eastern Creek site.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating and scheduling fleet in accordance with customer requirements.
  • They will engage 3rd Party providers when required and ensure daily checks on vehicles are conducted to monitor the serviceability and equipment functionality.
  • The role involves communicating and liaising with drivers, operators, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, as well as maintaining data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate and schedule fleet in accordance with customer requirements
  • Engage 3rd Party providers when required
  • Ensure daily checks on vehicles are conducted to monitor the serviceability and equipment functionality
  • Communicate and liaise with drivers, operators, subcontractors and other stakeholders
  • Maintain data integrity including KPI entry, allocations and general administration

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful, you will require:

  • Relevant experience in allocation roles and knowledge of the transport industry
  • Essential computer skills/transport system
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enthusiastic, team player and has the "Can Do" attitude
  • A strong focus on quality and safe work practices
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility policies and procedures
  • Hold an MR/HR licence
