Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced local MC truck driver to join our team in Rocklea for local pickup and delivery work. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods, loading, unloading, and load restraint of freight.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Transporting temperature-sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runs
  • Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
  • Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation, and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology
  • Interacting with clients in a professional manner
  • Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading, and transportation of freight
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current and valid MC licence (as a minimum)
  • Experience in relevant licence class and reversing onto docks
  • Swinglifter experience is highly valued
  • A current MSIC &/or ASIC card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Exhibit a motivated and positive attitude
  • Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills
  • Have Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred)
  • Show flexibility with start and finish times with the willingness to work weekends
