Role Summary

This is a senior leadership position responsible for implementing the school's mission and vision, fostering growth in faith and improvement in learning.

The Religious Education Coordinator will lead and coordinate learning and teaching in Religious Education, sharing the leadership of Catholic Life, Education and Mission within the Diocese of Wagga Wagga.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Religious Education Framework to support student growth and development.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to staff to enhance their teaching and learning practices.
  • Promote the mission and vision of Catholic Education, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with the school's values and goals.
Key Requirements
  • A postgraduate qualification relevant to teaching and education.
  • NESA Accreditation at Proficient Status or higher.
  • Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E) or working towards Accreditation.
  • A current Driver's Licence and Working With Children Check.
  • A successful candidate will need to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
Beneficial Qualifications and Skills
  • Recent experience in school or system leadership.
  • Highly developed communication skills, including public speaking and written communication.
  • An understanding of curriculum design and pedagogical best practices.
