Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking motivated psychiatric nurses to work across various bed-based services, including our acute psychiatric unit.
Nurses will be employed in the Nurse Bank, working in the Acute In-Patient Psychiatric Unit or Residential Rehabilitation (Community Care Unit) on a casual basis.
The primary goal is to create an environment that facilitates clinical recovery and supports individual recovery efforts.
This role involves risk assessment, mental state assessment, and care planning, as well as consultation and negotiation with patients, carers, and professionals.
Flexibility and availability for shifts across different settings will be highly valued.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Our team strives to minimize service system barriers to the recovery process, providing a supportive environment for patients to recover and thrive.
