Job Description

We're on an incredible growth trajectory, and as a seasoned iOS engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us make waves in the industry. The job revolves around building out features on the app, collaborating closely with your squad to deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Feature development: Build out features on the app, collaborating closely with your squad to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Code review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and sharing best practices to help them grow professionally.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product and technical roadmaps.
  • Optimisation: Optimise application performance, reducing latency and ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Testing: Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests to ensure app reliability and robustness.
Requirements

We're looking for experienced professionals who can hit the ground running. If you have:

  • Experience working on multiple iOS codebases with millions of regular users.
  • Experience in technical leadership roles, task breakdown, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with component-based UI development such as SwiftUI.
  • A strong understanding of iOS app architectures.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Experience using CoreData or similar local data storage.
  • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years of Swift experience.
