The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in responding to emergency incidents and promoting community safety and emergency preparedness.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to fire and other emergency incidents, working as part of a team to ensure the safety of people and property.
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
- Develop and maintain competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses provided by the QFES.
- Maintain the required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status.
- Manual C Class driver's licence.
- Employers written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable).
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station.
As an Auxiliary Firefighter with the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in the community and responding to emergency incidents.
