**Job Role Summary**

  • Enable work groups to execute their day-to-day operations safely and efficiently, managing risk and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health, Safety, Environment Responsibility: Foster a culture of safety within the team, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Site Progress Monitoring: Track and report on planned site activities, contractor resource allocation, and capacity management.
  • Capability Building: Develop and maintain team capabilities through training, skills assessments, and competency development.
  • Training Delivery: Provide on-the-job training to mobile flashbutt teams, enhancing their skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Proven track record of managing large contractor work groups in a similar role.
  • Rail Maintenance Experience: Prior experience in rail maintenance, preferably in mobile flashbutt welding.
  • Cultural Awareness Training: Completion of cultural awareness training, specifically tailored for the local area.
  • Track Access Training: Competence in track access procedures and protocols.
  • Certification: Hold a Cert III in Track Infrastructure.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Suite, SAP, and planning systems.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
  • Administration and Time Management: Effective administration and prioritization skills, with a strong emphasis on time management.
  • Sound Judgement: Demonstrated sound judgement, with the ability to balance competing issues and priorities.
