Job Title: Electronic Instrument Trades Worker

We are seeking an experienced electronics technician to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic circuit components and experience working on manufacturing lines.

  • Test, diagnose and repair electronic components in machinery.
  • Dismantle and assemble machinery using tools provided in the workshop while following OH&S standards.
  • Perform fault finding and troubleshooting tasks to reduce downtime.
  • Install and calibrate sensors in machines.
  • Evaluate data to identify recurring issues and implement solutions.
  • Use a soldering iron and operate electronic testing equipment.
  • Repair circuit boards as required.
  • Install electrical hardware.
  • Prepare reports and communicate with team members and external sub-contractors.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in a relevant discipline or at least three years' experience in a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience as an electronics technician preferably on a manufacturing line.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
