Job Title: Environmental Recycling Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Environmental Recycling Officer. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our customers have a positive experience when visiting our recycling centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure our customers have a great experience
  • Maintain a safe, clean, efficient and professional environment for team members and TOMRA customers
  • Carry out regular cleaning and maintenance of our reverse vending machines and sorting equipment
  • Ensure the sorting equipment is running efficiently by removing and replacing collection bins as they fill up
  • Monitor the recycling centre for any hazards and report concerns as they arise
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management

Requirements:

  • A passion for recycling and the environment
  • A keen eye for detail and a motivation to maintain a clean work environment
  • To be a safety champion, everyone deserves to return home safely
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service
  • To be physically fit, some manual lifting will be required
