Home Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Social Support: provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Meal Preparation: prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients according to their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Medication Assistance: administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Respite: provide temporary relief to family caregivers and enable them to rest and recharge.
  • Domestic Assistance: perform light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and other household chores.
  • Transportation: drive clients to appointments, shopping, and other outings as needed.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or Disability Services.
  • A valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • A satisfactory Australian National Police Check.
  • A current or willing-to-obtain First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • A Smart mobile phone.
  • Authorization to work in Australia.
