Job Description

The purpose of this team is to lead, direct and manage enterprise solution architectures and associated solution services for the business. This involves guiding the application of technology for the improvement and/or evolution of business solutions and capabilities.

The outcome of these services is to:

· Promote re-use of solutions, uniformity of approach and consistent solution patterns.

· Ensure that solution architecture artefacts and deliverables adhere to solution intent and quality outcomes.

· Actively drive knowledge sharing, repository development and use.

Key Responsibilities

1. Domain Architecture

· Provide technical advice and architectural design, oversight and guidance in support of customer experience improvement and digital channel strategy implementation initiatives.

· Contribute and support development and maintenance of the enterprise-wide IT roadmaps in support of business objectives and must wins.

· Ensure on-going alignment and effective application of the roadmaps across Digital solutions and projects.

· Work with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to strengthen XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd's architecture capacity, maturity, and practices.

2. Solution Architecture

· Build and maintain understanding of tech strategy and application design practice to ensure that digital architecture artefacts are consistent with the company's overall strategy and design principles.

· Define and establish the solution architecture for digital web apps, mobile apps and other related in-house business-critical applications.

· Collaborate broadly, in particular with product owners, to reimagine customer experience within and across digital channels.

· Maintain the alignment of solution architectures to the enterprise architecture directions, standards and patterns.

· Engage with business stakeholders to understand the business requirements and user stories.

· Drive efficiency, TCO and solution cost prudency, de-duplication of systems and functions and efficient and effective systems portfolio.

· Facilitate solution design evolution and accelerate solution responses to changing business requirements in an incremental and agile delivery environment.
