Industrial Fabricator Job Opportunity

About The Role

As an industrial fabricator, you will be responsible for ensuring all safety protocols are in place before undertaking any tasks. You will also be required to mark out structural fabrication and shapes according to specifications, assemble and weld parts based on technical engineering drawings, repair, replace, modify and fabricate using appropriate tools and welding techniques, operate hand tools and power tools relevant to the job, and dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components during general fabrication activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety checks to ensure a safe working environment
  • Mark out/off structural fabrication and shapes according to specifications
  • Assemble and weld parts according to technical engineering drawings and route sheets
  • Repair, replace, modify and fabricate using appropriate tools and welding techniques
  • Operate hand tools and power tools appropriate to the job
  • Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components during general fabrication section activities

Requirements
  • Boilermaker Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical drawings and procedure manuals
