As a dedicated professional, you will provide expert tenancy advice and support to individuals navigating the Queensland rental system.
About the Role:- Provide information, guidance, and advocacy to tenants under the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008.
- Support tenants with dispute resolution processes, including the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) and Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT).
- Connect individuals at risk of homelessness with appropriate government, community, and emergency housing services.
This role requires experience in tenancy advocacy, housing, homelessness services or related areas. Strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills are essential.
Requirements & Qualifications:- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Diploma, Certificate or Degree) or equivalent experience.
- Current (or capacity to obtain) clearances required.
- Proficiency with data management systems and Microsoft applications.
The successful candidate will be committed to professional boundaries, ethics and continuous development. They will work calmly and respectfully with people experiencing complex challenges.
