Amentum is seeking a skilled Maintenance Labourer to join our team in Alice Springs. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and landscaping, including operating hand and power tools, digging trenches, and handling concrete mixing and spreading.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining lawns and gardens, including pruning, reticulation repairs, and fencing repairs
  • Maintaining and developing reticulation systems to ensure efficient operation
  • Planting, pruning, and maintaining shrubs and trees to enhance landscaping aesthetics
  • Conducting routine maintenance on small machinery used in daily operations
  • Working safely and reporting incidents promptly, collaborating effectively within the team, and using computer systems for task recording and planning

Requirements include:

  • Ability to work in a team environment and with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and problem-solve effectively
  • Previous experience in construction and landscaping is essential
  • Current Driver's License is required
