Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our school community as a Food Technology Teacher.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive Food Technology curriculum to students in Years 9 and 10, and VET Hospitality - Food and Beverage units to students in Year 11 and 12.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to student-centered learning, a talent for creating engaging lesson plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Approval to teach Food Technology and Stage 4 Technology Mandatory
  • Evidence of effective classroom practice that includes the ability to cater for students with diverse learning needs through differentiated curriculum, classroom management, and integration of technology
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively as part of the TAS faculty and contribute to faculty programs and resources
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
