As a Watchroom Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining operational readiness and responding to fire crews during incidents. This position requires strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and the ability to work autonomously.
You will be responsible for ensuring all relevant administrative duties are performed, participating in fire station training and development plans, and adhering to the company's policies and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Maintain an effective operational readiness in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Respond fire crews to incidents as required at the applicable fire station and maintain support and communications to the Incident Controller.
- Assist the Officer in Charge of the Fire Station to ensure that all relevant administrative duties associated with the operational aspect of the fire station are performed.
- Participate in the Fire Station training and development plan.
- Hold one of the qualifications PUASAR016A, PUASETE001A or PUACOM006 in EACH of the 5 Boxes below:
- PUASAR016A Identify Opportunities for Service Improvement,
- PUASETE001A Work Effectively in a Team Environment,
- PUACOM006 Communicate Information Effectively.
- Be part of a long-term defence contract.
