Position Overview
We're seeking a Cloud-Native Architecture Strategist who thrives at the intersection of technology, consulting, and customer engagement. As a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, you will guide them through the design, evaluation, and adoption of cloud-native architectures built on Akka and Kalix. You'll work closely with sales teams, developers, architects, and business leaders to uncover needs, shape solution strategies, and drive successful outcomes. Your focus will be on pre-sales consulting, solution design, and technical storytelling – ensuring that customer challenges are met with clarity, confidence, and creativity.

About the Role
As a Cloud-Native Architecture Strategist, your key responsibilities include:
  • Leading technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Designing and communicating cloud-native architectures leveraging Akka, Kalix, and the broader Akka stack
  • Collaborating with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to craft and execute strategic account plans focused on long-term technical value realization
  • Serving as the local technical point of contact for strategic customers, facilitating onboarding and assisting with real-world deployment of architectural designs

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Experience in a pre-sales role at an enterprise software company
  • 5+ years of work experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or customer-facing architecture role within an enterprise software or Paa S environment
  • Proven success in leading technical discovery, designing solutions, and influencing architecture decisions during complex sales cycles
  • Strong foundation in software development and system design, with 3+ years of experience in cloud-native or distributed system architectures
