The Role

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our Kotara team. As a key member of our store leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve overall success. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a customer-centric culture and deliver a meaningful store experience through leadership by example.
  • Develop and lead your team, aligning with business objectives to achieve financial sales, profit, and productivity targets.
  • Transform our store into a visually appealing haven through expert Visual Merchandising, capturing attention and creating an atmosphere that delights customers.
  • Efficiently manage store rostering and wage expenses, maintaining a sharp focus on commercial acumen.
  • Oversee stock management (up to 15kg) in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless customer shopping experiences.
  • Monitor store sales performance, identifying exceptional results and areas for improvement, and communicate findings to peers and senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with the Store Manager and Talent Acquisition team to identify and recruit dedicated retail professionals.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Assistant/Store Manager or Full-time worker.
  • A passion for the retail industry is essential.
  • Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and generate efficient rosters in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Operational excellence, experienced across stock control and visual merchandising.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspiring and motivating peers.
