**Financial Strategist Role**

This senior leadership position drives business optimization and streamlines financial operations. As a key member of the executive team, you will provide impactful insights to inform strategic decisions.

The Financial Strategist will lead a focused finance team, fostering growth and improving financial performance. Key responsibilities include developing clear financial strategies, managing funding activities, creating comprehensive budgets and forecasts, overseeing procurement processes, and assessing financial risk.

  • Lead a finance team to drive improved financial performance and foster growth.
  • Develop and implement clear financial strategies to support executive decision-making.
  • Manage funding activities end-to-end, including tender submissions, grant applications, contract oversight, and reporting.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
  • Oversee procurement processes and implement cost management strategies to maximize value and control expenses.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business and relevant professional certifications, significant experience in senior finance roles, particularly in aged care, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors. They should possess strong leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to balance day-to-day delivery with long-term planning and project management.
