\About the Role\
\

As a Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support services to our residents. This includes assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and toileting, as well as supporting residents with mobility and other needs.

\

Our residents require support with various aspects of their lives, including their physical, emotional and lifestyle needs. You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement care plans that cater to each resident's unique needs and preferences.

  • \
  • Contributes to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation.\
    \
  • Assist residents who require assistance with mobility as per care plan.\
    \
  • Attend routine urinalysis, blood pressure, temperature and pulse checks.\
    \
  • Charting as required for bowel movement, hydration, food and other ADLs.\
    \
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.\
    \
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families and carers.\
    \
  • Communicate effectively with the care team, sharing information and concerns about residents' progress.\
    \
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, maintaining knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality care.\
    \
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by following infection control procedures and adhering to health and safety protocols.\
