About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our clients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to clients' homes to provide meaningful therapeutic supports in context
  • Making assessments of clients' physical and psychological conditions
  • Formulating and introducing treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of clients
  • Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities
  • Completing documentation as required, including detailed reports
  • Collaborating with allied health team, teachers, and families/carers to create plans and programs
  • Evaluating client progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required
  • Using tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care
  • Staying up to date with developments in treatments
  • Supervising allied health assistants and students
  • Mentoring new graduates and recruits

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
