Supporting the Well-being of Residents in a Dining Setting

In this vital role, you will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for residents. Your duties may include assisting with meal preparation, serving meals to residents during mealtimes, and ensuring each resident receives their appropriate meal according to dietary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meal Preparation: Chop vegetables, assemble salads, portion food, and prepare simple dishes under supervision of the Cook or Head Chef.
  • Serving Meals: Serve meals to residents, ensuring each resident receives the correct meal based on dietary needs.
  • Dining Room Setup: Set up dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items are available.
  • Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
  • Resident Interaction: Engage with residents in a friendly manner during mealtimes, addressing their needs and requests as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Food Handlers Certificate
  • Adaptable and passionate with a willingness to learn
  • Collaborative team player with effective communication skills
