As a Battery Maintenance Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering exceptional services to leading retail brands in their distribution centers. Your primary responsibilities include safely changing and maintaining forklift batteries to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime for clients.

The role involves working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance customer satisfaction and implement best practices across all levels. To excel in this position, you should have a solid understanding of plant and equipment within warehouse environments. Previous experience in storage and warehousing settings is advantageous but not essential.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, numeracy & literacy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with various types of forklifts & MHE equipment

A successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current High-Risk Work License - FL (forklift) or willingness to obtain a forklift license

This role offers competitive hourly rates between $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, flexible work arrangements, including full-time, part-time, casual, and permanent positions. Part-time hours range from 38 hours per week. Supplemental pay types include overtime pay, penalty rates, and performance bonuses.
