Heavy Fabrication Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a Heavy Fabrication Specialist with experience in heavy and structural steel fabrication to work across Australia's largest mine sites in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions.

  • This is a key role within our organisation, working on planned maintenance, shutdown and project works on fixed plant mining equipment, including but not limited to, crushers, conveyors, chutes, screens, bins, feeders, reclaimers and train loadouts.

As a Heavy Fabrication Specialist you will undertake high-level tasks such as:

  • Undertaking planned maintenance, shutdown and project works on fixed plant mining equipment
  • Working with a team to ensure all projects are completed on time and to a high standard

To be successful in this role you will hold the following qualifications:

  • Australian Recognised or New Zealand Trade Qualification in Heavy Fabrication
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
  • Construction White Card
  • Australian work rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol screens
  • Rio, FMG, Roy Hill, BHP, Newmont inductions, or inductions for Goldfields based mine sites are advantageous
