
Clinical Nutritionist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable healthcare professional to join our team as a Clinical Nutritionist. As a Clinical Nutritionist, you will work closely with individuals to assess their nutritional needs, develop personalized meal plans, and educate them on healthy eating habits.
This role is ideal for a passionate and experienced individual who wants to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs, taking into account their medical history, dietary preferences, and lifestyle factors.
- Meal Planning: Develop customized meal plans and dietary recommendations that align with patients' specific health goals, medical conditions, and cultural considerations.
- Nutritional Counselling: Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to patients, offering guidance on making healthier food choices, managing weight, and addressing specific dietary concerns.
- Educational Support: Educate patients on the importance of proper nutrition and its impact on overall health. Provide ongoing support, motivation, and accountability to help patients adhere to their dietary plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient consultations, assessments, and progress. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Mandatory Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Certification: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification. Evidence of maintaining active licensure and staying up-to-date with continuing education requirements.
- Experience: Previous experience working as a Clinical Dietician is highly desirable. Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is a plus.
- A driver's license.
- NDIS experience desirable but not essential.
- NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain.
- Covid & flu vaccination evidence.
- Full working rights in Australia.
