Paediatric Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Susanne Nelson and Associates. As a leading private occupational therapy practice, we specialise in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing occupational therapy services to children aged 0-12 years and their families. You will have the flexibility to negotiate your caseload and days to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised therapy plans.
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to support children's cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Registration with Medicare.
  • Australian Business Number.
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
