Job Title: Lead Software Architect

The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Software Architect to join our cross-functional engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices and event streaming architectures using Apache Kafka and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance microservices in Node.js for financial platforms.
  • Implement efficient and fault-tolerant Kafka event streaming pipelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability in a regulated financial environment.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in security, testing, and CI/CD.

You will have expertise in Apache Kafka (design, administration, optimization, and stream processing) and proven experience building scalable microservices with Node.js. A strong background in event-driven architecture and real-time systems is also essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) is beneficial.
