Company Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic tertiary students to participate in our vacation program at a metallurgical coal mine.

Program Details

  • The program is open to 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year students studying Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mine Survey, or Metallurgical/Process/Chemical Engineering.

Key Requirements

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude towards work
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia
  • A valid Australian driver's license
  • Availability to work on one of our mine sites during the end-of-year break (approximately 3 months)

What We Offer

  • Camp accommodation including all meals, on-site gym, pool, etc.
  • Uniforms and PPE provided at no cost
  • Flights at the beginning and end of the program to Mackay/Moranbah
  • 12-week full-time paid program (Monday to Friday)
  • The opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive team environment
