Job Summary

The Assistant Director provides strong leadership in the development and implementation of a quality early childhood education service. They provide mentoring, on-the-job training, and support to all educators with specific focus on excellence, compliance with legislation, and high-quality early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of a quality early childhood education service.
  • Mentor and support educators to achieve excellence in their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Develop positive partnerships and relationships with children, families, staff, and community.
Requirements
  • A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA recognised equivalent qualification.
  • Current First Aid Qualifications – including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role is advantageous.
  • A personal commitment to the Christian ethos of the college and ability to demonstrate this through active faith and church involvement.
