About Acquisition Finance Roles

Positions are available in a high-performing team in Sydney, where individuals can contribute to the bank's growth.

We're seeking enthusiastic individuals with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities to join our dynamic team. As an Analyst or Associate, you'll be responsible for deal execution, credit analysis, and assisting Loan Capital Markets on new deals.

  • Deal execution, credit analysis, and assisting Loan Capital Markets on new deals
  • Supporting the team and managing the credit approval and legal documentation processes, including:
    • Financial modeling
    • Analysis of due diligence, including financial, business, and market analysis
    • Maintaining regular dialogue with Risk Management
  • Managing operational processes for smooth execution of new transactions
  • Collaborating and forming deal teams with other departments, such as Sector Teams, Loan Capital Markets, DCM, Financial Markets, and Corporate Finance (M&A)
  • Supporting syndication processes working closely with Loan Capital Markets and Financial Markets

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field. CFA qualification and/or MBA will be an advantage
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance or related financial services
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented, with a systematic approach
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, and who is an effective team player
  • High level of self-motivation and professionalism, with an ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently on complex transactions with often challenging timelines
  • Highly proficient skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
