Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Paradise Alliance, you will play a critical role in the delivery of the Paradise Dam Improvement Project. This is a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale infrastructure project with a leading construction company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and administer construction engineering activities in line with project documentation
  • Assist the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports
  • Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions
  • Manage and liaise with site-based personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and productivity analysis against program and budget
  • Manage short and long-term construction planning for works under control
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and productivity analysis against program and budget
  • Liaise with project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers
  • Develop and manage SHEQ processes and procedures
  • Apply engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer on large-scale projects with a tier 1 company
  • Previous experience in RCC – Roller Compacted Concrete, TMR, and concrete formwork
  • Proven commercial experience in forecasting and budget management, EOM Process, and cost tracking skills
  • Ability to work on site, either FIFO or DIDO
