Warehouse Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks in the warehouse, including order picking, operating MHE (order picker and forklift), assisting with loading and unloading trucks or other transportation vehicles, labelling and storing parts accurately, completing and verifying paperwork to ensure accurate tracking of parts in the warehouse and to our customers, packing & wrapping parts for distribution, processing customer returns, and general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous warehousing experience in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • LF Licences (Forklift) are essential
  • LO Licence (Order Picker) is desirable
  • Mechanical experience is desirable
  • Intermediate computer skills are required
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Eye for detail - quality control inspection of all parts carried out before leaving the warehouse
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Understanding safe work practices - OH&S
  • Automotive knowledge would be advantageous for this role
