We are seeking a compassionate nurse to join our care team at Macquarie. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated professional to provide high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role:

  • Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
  • Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues.
  • Strong coaching/training skills.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to apply for NDIS clearance.
