About the Role
As a key member of the Monash Health team, the Access and Engagement Clinician will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to children from 0-11 years and their families. This position requires a skilled and experienced professional who can work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to achieve maximal operational effectiveness and create strong partnerships within and outside of Monash Health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing seamless coordination of clinical and operational activities, including skills in organisation, planning, and priority setting.
- Leading the intake, triage, assessment, and engagement for children and their families.
- Demonstrating high-quality assessment of risk and prioritisation and understanding of when to seek support or guidance.
- Supporting and facilitating navigation for children and families who do not meet eligibility criteria.
- Leading during times of change and working collaboratively as a member of the Children's Local Service to implement and embed the new program and model of care.
- Committing to continuous quality improvement.
This is a permanent part-time (0.6 EFT) position, and we are accepting applications from Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in child development and/or mental health, with significant experience in their field. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
