Looking to take your career in logistics and supply chain solutions to the next level? As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic planning and execution.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent role with an ASAP start. You will be based in Somerton and will be part of a well-established company with a global reach.

  • You will be at the forefront of the business, responsible for expanding the client base and forging strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Your main focus will be on developing and implementing a growth strategy, conducting market research, arranging and leading business meetings with prospective clients, and preparing and managing sales contracts.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales, revenue, and invoices, providing reliable feedback and after-sales support, and building and nurturing long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy to expand the client base and increase revenue.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
  • Arrange and lead business meetings with prospective clients to build relationships and close deals.
  • Prepare and manage sales contracts to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, and invoices to track performance.
  • Provide reliable feedback and after-sales support to customers.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in transport, freight forwarding, or 3PL warehousing.
  • Proven experience as a business development executive, sales executive, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and foster relationships.
  • Solid time management and planning abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field is highly desirable.
