Senior Civil Designer Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team of civil design experts and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects across various sectors.

  • Working on a wide range of projects including infrastructure, built environment, manufacturing, mining, and power and energy sectors.
  • Lead civil design and documentation, developing your skills and expertise in this area.
  • Challenge the norm with the objective of continuous improvement, ensuring that our design and documentation processes remain robust, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience in civil design, preferably in consulting.
  • Advanced diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience with either 12d or Civil3D design packages.
  • Strong civil design knowledge and demonstrated experience delivering on time and on budget.
  • A thorough knowledge of drafting standards, with experience in road and local authority standards.
  • Experience in leading the delivery of civil design and documentation packages across multiple sectors.
  • Competent in the design of built environment and infrastructure projects including bulk earthworks, roads, water and sewer infrastructure, and stormwater drainage from concept to construction stages of projects and/or competent in the civil design of civil mine infrastructure including surface water management, tailings and waste facilities, bulk earthworks, and haul roads.
