Job Title: Primary Teacher

Position Summary:

  • Lead a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

  • Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students.

The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment, collaborating with the leadership team, teachers, and other staff members to foster a positive school culture, and engaging in professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy.
  • Assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes.
  • Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development.
  • Ensuring that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
