Infinite Consulting is on the lookout for skilled Java Application Developers to support our prominent Federal Government Client. This role offers an immediate start with a contract duration that includes options for extension based on project needs.

Role Responsibilities:

As a member of a compact, multi-disciplinary team, you will engage in software development following Agile methodologies. Your contributions will include:

  • Creating software applications that align with business objectives and facilitate various projects/programs using Java, adhering to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
  • Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships while managing associated risks.
  • Formulating a comprehensive work plan that includes key performance indicators and expected outcomes.
  • Providing regular updates on performance metrics and project efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Java programming.
  • Capability to interpret user requirements and generate code with minimal errors.
  • Experience in an enterprise software development setting, utilizing existing software frameworks and development methodologies (GIT & Azure Dev Ops, recent experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server/Portal Server platforms using PrimeFaces UI framework/MyFaces implementation).
  • Ability to develop applications that accommodate both authenticated and unauthenticated users.
  • Familiarity with Intellij and Maven build tools.
  • Experience with SOAP, XML, EJB 3, and Web Services/RESTful APIs.
  • Expertise in Java/J2EE/JEE design and development.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or certifications as a Java Developer.
