At Solve Care, we are dedicated to providing high-quality support to our clients. We are seeking a passionate disability support worker to join our friendly team and make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality, initiative, and the ability to work independently. They will be responsible for providing supports to clients in the community, including domestic assistance, accompanying individuals on outings and activities, and working in accordance with work health and safety guidelines.
To ensure the highest quality care, our disability support workers must be able to:
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
- Accompany clients on social outings and appointments
- Document client information accurately and confidentially
- Communicate effectively with families, workers, and case managers
As a disability support worker, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience while making a meaningful contribution to the lives of our clients. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, above-award pay rates, professional development opportunities, and paid certificates relevant to disability support care.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Australian Driver's License (provisional permitted)
- Car with insurance and registration
- NDIS Worker's Screening
- First Aid and CPR valid
- 100 points of ID
- Working with Children Check
- Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar.
- Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 6 months relevant experience
- Previous experience supporting people living with a disability.
- Flexible working arrangements to assist individuals with previous commitments such as work, family, and studies
- Above minimum award pay rate for SCHADS
- Professional Development opportunities
- Paid certificates relevant to Disability support care
