Salary

$150,000 - $180,000 per year (estimated salary based on location and experience)



Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing multiple robotics implementation projects across various sites, ensuring program goals are met, and driving continuous improvement opportunities.



Key Responsibilities

  • Collect Voice of the Customer data and share success stories during lessons learnt workshops with cross-functional partners
  • Create and maintain problem resolution procedures and identify needs for new tools
  • Leverage existing guides, task lists, and configuration processes to deploy software at Amazon Robotics sites worldwide
  • Monitor queues and respond to issues within defined SLAs
  • Become a subject matter expert in one or more areas of robotics engineering or program management


Required Skills and Qualifications

You must have:



  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, or information systems
  • Working knowledge of Process Improvement methodology (Six Sigma, TQM, Kai-zen, and Lean manufacturing)
  • Experience working with AWS services (S3, EC2, SNS, SQS)
  • Knowledge and/or working experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Proven ability to root cause issues, drive improvements, and apply preventive measures
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical discussions with various groups, including Software, Hardware, and Systems Engineering, Operations, and Senior Management
  • Proven ability to project manage complex technical projects


Preferred Qualifications

Your ideal candidate should have:



  • Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements
  • Certification in AWS services (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect) and Process Improvement methodology (Six Sigma, TQM, Kai-zen, and Lean manufacturing)
  • Certification in Linux Red Hat and demonstrated examples of a drive to dig into system details to solve customer problems
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a metrics-driven focus on frugality without sacrificing safety or customer satisfaction
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Exposure to two or more of the following programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Shell Scripting, Java Script)
