Job Title: Process Operator

">About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Process Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating plant and equipment, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining a high level of safety standards.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in Major Hazard Facilities, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment. A Forklift ticket and basic computer knowledge are highly regarded. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential.

You will work well in a team environment or independently, with the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision. Opportunities to progress across different departments and increase your skills and competencies are available.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate plant and equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and jackhammers as required.
  2. Feed raw material and processing agents into plant machinery.
  3. Set controls and operate machinery.
  4. Adhere to all relevant Standard Work Instructions (SWI's).
  5. Follow all Site Safety and Company procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Major Hazard Facilities.
  • Forklift ticket and basic computer knowledge.
  • Experience in a mining/resources/heavy industry, operating machinery or similar.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Intermediate literacy, numeracy, and logical reasoning.
  • Physical ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
