Job Title

We are seeking a Trolley Collection Operative to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our car parks and surrounding streets by collecting trolleys using a vehicle.

To ensure your success in this position, we will provide comprehensive training to operate our trolley collection vehicles and conduct regular assessments.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Driving a trolley collection vehicle and collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • Pushing trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collecting trolleys left in and around the store and returning them to the trolley bays
  • Carrying out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Following all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Following all road rules and reporting any issues related to unretrievable trolleys

You may also be required to perform cleaning and waste disposal tasks.

Requirements
  • A full (unrestricted) Australian driver's license or a Provisional P2 driver's license (Green P Plates)
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
