Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our engineering team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort facilities.
The successful candidate will perform a range of tasks including preventative maintenance and repair work on equipment and services. They will also assist with small projects and installations as required, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Daily Tasks and Requirements:- Maintenance and Repair Work: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and services to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
- Project Assistance: Assist with small projects and installations as required, working closely with other members of the engineering team.
- Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair electrical equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to relevant standards and regulations.
- Trade Qualification: A trade qualification or equivalent experience is highly desirable for this role.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all departments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Availability: The successful candidate must be available to work a 7-day roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Driver's License: A valid NSW driver's license and clean driving record to operate hotel vehicles.
- Right to Work: Right to work in Australia.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects up to 23 kilograms and push/pull heavy objects safely.
